The positives - the staff are extremely attentive and friendly (pushing the elevator button in advance, pleasant at check-in and check-out, helping our stroller in and out of the building), the room was clean, and we got a suite there with a second room with door so that our toddler could sleep in peace and quiet while we had guests over (FANTASTIC and worth paying extra money for), and the location is fantastic - five minute walk to central park, and we couldn't hear our neighbors the entire stay even though the hotel was fully booked.
