3. a few of the people in my dance group were unable to get the maids to clean their room and my room was not left clean towels and then the maids/some service crew went on strike marching in front of and blocking the entrance to the hotel.

5. The hotel is clean and tidy rooms are cleaned everyday and fresh towels etc etc. Oh and there was no smell of smoke anywhere in the hotel only air fresheners.

6. Ill fitting sheets (nearly all rooms), uncontrollable thermostat (2 rooms), hot water that runs out (a couple of rooms), two towels for three people (all rooms), blocked toilet (three rooms), broken phone (our room) and a full range of desk staff from rude to extremely helpful.

7. Last but not least, went to take a shower and the bath towels were the size of a dinner napkin, could have used 4 to dry myself off but were only 2 in the room.

In each of our three rooms, we had one or more of these issues: thermostats, tv, remote, iron that didn't work; linens that didn't fit the beds; towels thin and small - similar to rags; iron board, hangars, luggage racks that were nonexistent; nonsmoking room that smelled of smoke; torn and stained carpeting; and more.

9. The room did not have enough towels etc. for everyone (even though we did make a reservation for 4 adults) and even after calling the front desk twice and coming down in person to ask for more, we still didn't get any until late the next morning.

10. From a hotel of this calibre we would expect much better: the room was tired, the decor boring, the towels were too few, small, and threadbare, the sheets torn, the lights far too dim, the efficient air conditioning was loud, and the smell wasn't encouraging.
