3. There were burn marks in the 'smoke free' bedrooms, a smell of urine, loud trucks keeping us awake at all hours of the night and above all, it was not within walking distance of a decent restaurant or pub.

4. It is right next to a metro stop but being located in LA, there are plenty of metro rail and bus stops all over the city and most only being 5-10 minutes walk away.

I think its a great location - easy access to santa monica, straight on the bus outside the hotel takes you to the beach and to get to hollywood jump on the subway opposite the hotel for $6 allday and it goes straight to hollywood boulevard where you will find (chinese theatre, walk of fame, madame tussuads, etc).
