4. Check out with just as pleasant as check in, as Edgar told us quick routes home and offered us bottled water upon exit.

Upon check in because we had missed Wine Happy Hour, they graciously offered us a glass to unwind and then, knowing we were transferring to another Kimpton Property closer to our event the next day, Johnny Pelzer, even offered to have our luggage shipped for us so we could get down to business and not have to worry about lugging it in the cab the following day .

6. Upon check-in, we mentioned that we were celebrating our wedding anniversary, and later that night while we were at dinner, hotel staff delivered a nice bottle of champagne to our room.

8. We enjoyed our stay at the Hotel George Kimpton near Union Station -- check in was friendly and easy; the room was large, beds were comfortable and clean, and the large walk-in shower stall is separate from the tub, which we really liked.
