1. Valet parking is hugely expensive (close to $50 per day) although I had no trouble finding a parking meter across the street that provided 48 hours of relatively inexpensive parking.

7. Union station is a quick 5 to 10 minute walk and you can park your car there for $20 a night (as opposed to the hotel's valet parking which is $45 a night).
