1. We found the hotel rather pricy, but apparently this is just the case wherever you choose to stay in DC, so why not just choose the George and get the best hotel for the money :o)We were pleased to find that The George was also very well suited for kids, they got small presents at arrival etc., a really nice touch.

3. Add the Kimpton treats like the nightly wine reception, free internet, and their 'raid the minibar' feature (brilliant) and it feels like you get so much more for your money.
