1. I could spend all day listing everything I loved about the hotel and the city - but in short - The crowne plaza was fabulous and so was the trip to NYCIt is located near quite a few subway stations, and also most of the major attractions of the city are easily walkable (ie the various shows, 'top of the rock' 5th ave, etc)We flew British Airways Glasgow to Newark via heathrow.

3. We chose this hotel as we were getting married in New York on 'Top of The rock' and it was a good central location for our guests to meet and for us to enjoy New York.

Central Park, Top of the rock (best attraction), Empire State Building (long lines, if one option go Top of the rock, you see empire state building, Chrysler building and better views of central park), Museum of Modern Art, Broadway ticket sales, Guggenheim, Metropolitan museum (stop off while strolling through central park) and also planet hollywood in times square (I had my doubts at first, but the New York Pass offered is amazing value and well worth the investment).
