1. The only complaints would be slow elevators (sign of original mechanicals in this old building) and complimentary WiFi is only in lounge and reception area.

My only complaint was that the concierges were not used to dealing with tourists' questions and instead seemed more comfortable with businessman type concerns They had trouble booking our tickets for the Statue of Liberty/Ellis Island as well as the 9/11 Memorial-by the way, do both before you go and bring the tickets with you.

7. we were given a voucher twice to eat there by the front desk, one on arrival as it was my birthday, and we were upgraded to a larger suite which was a nice touchour only complaint was the svengali doorman who definitely had his favourites when it came to taxis.
