1. In general, the hotel seemed a little shabby and in need of some refurbishment, but this seemed typical of the area and for the price was not a problem (if you're expecting the Hilton, then you should expect Hilton prices).

2. They attempted to decorate the rooms and it probably looked nice 10 years ago when they first did it but now it is just shabby and a little like putting lipstick on a pig.
