1. For a few bucks more one could stay at the truly boutique-y Standard (which also had some issues, but it lived up to its' reputation).

5. it wasnt a Buffet but we were able to choose plenty to eat from the Menu and there were no issues.

I booked the room on one of those last minute web sites and it included a buffet breakfast as part of the deal, despite this, the hotel had no reference of this being the case, when I pointed out that I had made the booking online and it did include the deal the guy at the service desk kindly gave me a free breakfast pass for me and my wife without an issue or argument.

8. (non mixing valves) This creates a safety issues whereby it is possible for a person (especialy elderly and children) to scald themselves with hot water.

10. We were not there for the "view" so the fact that our third floor room looked out over a roof and directly across to rooms at the LA Library was not an issue.
