1. Sometimes it's hard to feel relaxed on a road trip vacation, and when we're at the KS, time slows down, and it's almost hard to get into Portland.

3. About the guest rooms: they are large and quirky with the original chalkboards (satisfies the wannabe teacher in me), but with lots of hard surfaces all over noise is not dampened in any way, either from the hallways or adjoining rooms.
