1. From reading the reviews, I understand some people don't like the lack of TV in the rooms - that doesn't bother me at all - I prefer it because the sound of television nattering on drives me crazy.
"A TV-free (almost) hotel - just what I want " Read full review on TripAdvisor   8/22/2011 Vote
2. Our king suite lacked the most basic amenities--no television, no coffeemaker, no mini fridge, no bathtub, not even a comforter for the bed.
"Dear McMenamins, Please comp my do-over trip. " Read full review on TripAdvisor   8/9/2011 Vote
3. The only negatives are the lack of parking on weekend nights - though there is an area reserved for hotel guests this is not enforced and we had to luck into a parking spot - and for me, the lack of a tv in the room.

4. (Do they even hire introverts there? :-) ) On our last morning, though, the waitress brought us our bill then disappeared, leaving us frustrated with the lack of ability to close out our tab and depart back to the airport.
"A wonderful, charming change from the usual "hotel experience" " Read full review on TripAdvisor   10/22/2007 Vote
5. I was finally able to track someone down after the 20-minute or so delay, but this lack of final detail did cut into our enjoyment ever so slightly.

8. The lack of adequate heat in the room, coupled with frequent power outages while trying to get ready in the morning were frustrating.
