1. This was our second stay at Manele Bay & it just confirmed our reasons for returning.

2. The pool staff here seemed a bit over taxed at times but it turned out that for some reason, some of the staff had fallen ill that week, so they were a bit short handed.

3. We took the shuttle into town to grab some soda's and alcohol at reasonable rates, about the same that we'd pay in a liquor store in NYC or 1/3 of what the resort was asking for a bottle of Vodka or Gin.

4. The breakfast was amazing, as they are at the four seasons, but for some reason this resort's breakfast and omelet bar stick out as having been exceptional.

6. The golf club restaurant is a two minute shuttle ride from Manele Bay and is a good and reasonably cheap option for lunch or early dinner (they close early).

7. All of these things would normally add up to a bad review, but I can truly say that for some reasons they seemed like minor inconveniences at such a gorgeous location.

8. It is certainly a lot more reasonable than the resorts and although during the day may look discouraging, at night it is adorable and worth a stop.

9. The relaxing atmosphere throughout the island, the accomodations, and the friendly staff are just a few of the reasons to vist, and if you want sunshine, a nice pool and beach, and beautiful scenery, Manele Bay is a great choice for accomodations.

10. We chose the FS because the price for the wedding package was reasonable (for upscale Hawaii) and what we wanted (no etched wineglasses or bathrobes for us thanks.
