1. The entrance to the hotel, the lobby, the area that overlooks the pool and then to the ocean is spectacular.

9. The ocean view from our regular room is amazing, with the bay stretching out beneath us, and dolphins jumping and playing almost daily, spectacular whales in the winter months, all easily visible from our private balcony.

10. The Day: We woke up early most mornings and either took a walk along the beach or a longer walk to Sweetheart Rock (not hard and really spectacular), or my husband went to the gym while I swam in the pool, which didn't have many people there before 8am.
