5. Another HUGE plus for the Ameritania was that I paid for my room on a debit card and they didn't put a massive hold on my card like some hotels and I wasn't charged until I arrived at the hotel, no reservation fee ahead of time.

6. The shower in our room (517) was HUGE, the hot water plentiful, the towels nice, the toiletries well above average and the toilet quiet (replete with soft-close seat.
