1. The Inn serves a continental breakfast with coffee, tea, cereal, pastries, toast, bagels, hard boiled eggs and yogurt in a pleasant breakfast room.

2. He mentioned that the hotel owner liked to renovate every 4-5 years and there were indeed some renovations and repainting going on, but this did not detract from our pleasant stay there.

5. All in all a good stay and I would recommend as long as you understand it is a pleasant, clean, well staffed hotel in a fantastic location--but not a luxury inn.

My flight was cancelled yesterday and although, I would have completely understood if I had forfeited a night's rate at the hotel, I was very pleasantly surprised when Maggie, general manager, replied to me notification email and said they understood some circumstances were out of our control and would not charge me for the missed night.

9. Located just a short walk from the funky, fun Venice Beach with tons of volleyball courts and head shops, the Inn at Venice Beach was a very pleasant and fairly economical place to base one's LA/Santa Monica operations.
