1. This is no 'Gin Palace' for the in-crowd but if you want a pleasant and relaxing stay in San Diego wrapped in an aura of dated elegance, the Horton Grand is going to be your first choice.

3. Like some other reviews, I did notice that the staff is just a bit under pressure during the 10AM - 2PM time slot, but otherwise, I found them very pleasant and helpful.
