3. We stayed in unit 1-203 which is on the second floor and well located, right next to the rocky shore giving a great sunset view and the sound of the waves against the lava rocks is a great backdrop to snoozing.

8. The lanai directly overlooking the ocean provided for views of whales (we lucked out -- February is a high season for whales on that side of the island) and dolphins, the sounds of the waves, and sunsets that were unbeatable (one of my favorite memories of Hawaii).
