4. I was also not impressed that they automatically add 20% to any check/bill as a gratuity, and then have the cheek to leave additional space for another tip - we were caught out the first time because we didnt check properly .

5. Good enough value for dollar for me to be satisfied, but the whole $2.50 a bottle room-temperature 'best water in the world' that gets charged to the room bill if consumed is just a small example of awkward marketing that cheapens the hotel's image.

6. Hotel had a billing problem, some kind of misconnect with Hotwire on the charge, but by later in the week that was straightened out.
