1. It was great to be away from Kona town but yet not so far away that it was a problem to go for a quick lunch.

9. Also a general issue for this coast at present is the presence of vog - this didn't cause us any direct problems, but did mean we didn't see the bright blue skies and ocean we expected - there was always a haze around.
