We stayed in unit 1-203 which is on the second floor and well located, right next to the
rock
y shore giving a great sunset view and the sound of the waves against the lava
rock
s is a great backdrop to snoozing.

The 'beach' is mostly cliffs and

The unit was clean, quiet, and the kids loved having the loft as another placed to play while my husband and I sipped Kona coffee on the lanai and watched the waves crash on the
rock
s.

If you are looking to enjoy night life and be on a sandy beach every day probably head north as the Keauhou area is very much a 'mature' demographic and the shore line is pretty much lava
rock
.
