1. Two observations: Bathroom door doesn't quite close (not an issue with the door, but that 'sliding door' trend I have noticed in some hotels.

2. Check in was swift, we had two rooms as travelled with parents so within minutes key cards had been issued and room deposit sorted, plus a cursory overview of the hotel and we were given a couple of offers off dining in Simon LA and the spa.

3. There were a few tiny, tiny issues that i will not go into as they were all sorted out.

4. I soon began to notice issues the door between the bedroom and sitting was broken and would not close and the only way to close the bathroom door was to slam it hard ( not nice for the guests in the next room ) and very tatty carpets I went down to the front desk to see what could be done and spoke to Crystal who could not have been nicer and gave me several opyions including letting me look at another suite, i really liked the location of the original suite so Crystal said that she would get everything fixed by the time that i returned from shopping.

5. Anyway, we would highly recommend the hotel for those that don't want to suffer through the 'issues' of regular hotels.

7. The main issue I had with the room (and other parts of the hotel) was the dust & dirt.

The only issue we ad is that we booked a tour with the concierge (TMZ tour) and we paid it 69$ per person, once at the booth we found out that if we would have book it directly with TMZ we would have spend 49$, saving a total of 40$ (high in a city as expensive as LA u definitely prefer to keep in your pocket ;) ).

9. The receptionist on the other end understood our issues and immediately took the internet charge off our account.
