Time Square, Madison Garden and Flat Iron all within short strolling distance and a subway station right outside the hotel which made everywhere so accessible( would recommend anyone going to NYC to buy an unlimited travel metrocard to cover however long you are there as they are great value)Hotel restaurant is reasonably priced compared to prices in the UK although having room service can be quite pricy, there is a place called Speedy's foods across the street that does cheap food and drinks to go, a Duane Reed (a US version of Co-op) just around the corner where we stopped daily to buy drinks to take back to the room and 2 blocks down there is a Sbarro which does all you can eat breakfast buffet for $9.
