1. Having gone on the trip with two past hotel employees of the Fermont, we figured that an upgrade or maybe a refund we be acceptable.

4. We went back into the hotel twice and asked the hotel staff why they had taken out more than we were orignally quoted, they could not explain why and we also asked why it was taking so long for our money to be refunded and they couldnt explain that either.

5. When I questioned this I was told it was in case of any damage, and the person was reluctant to tell me what they were going to do with the details, but eventaully I found out that I would be charged 75 dollars per night (i stayed 4 nights) which would be refunded to my card when I left.

8. The $75 refund to credit card did not appear on the card for 13 days, although I was told it would take 2 days and after further phone calls was eventually told it would take 5-10 days.
