, San Diego (Pacific Hwy), Venice

, Malibu and more without being in the middle of downtown traffic, congestion and parking challenges.

The actual city of San Pedro is pretty run down especially the main street with fast food, fuel, drugstores etc.If you are there with a car, Long
Beach
is much nicer.

We found plenty of things to do, like beautiful walks, The ArtWalk, The Red Car, Maritime Museum, Carillo

and Aquarium, Farmers Market and the quaint downtown area.
