2. As is standard in LA there was a fee for parking your car, something which really annoys me, as i defy anyone to vacation in LA without a car.

4. Sure enough after some research on their end, they sent us an email apologizing for having charged a no show fee due to 'a glitch in our system' and assured us they had already issued a refund.

5. When we got home, we e-mailed them to say that we cancelled our reservations (and referenced the cancellation numbers) as the our regular hotel was more geographically convenient for us (we didn't go into all the stink issues) and wanted to be sure we were not charged a 'no show' fee.

6. Although they advertise "Free Wifi" on the website, there is a one time $6.95 fee that you have to pay.
