We did smell a whiff of weed smoke (but not cigarette) in the hallways, but hey, it's California, so good luck

I asked for a room overlooking the rear of the hotel/pool area/hillside (to

facing the busy highway outside) and received this.

So, the best advice I can give if you are choosing this hotel is ask to see the room they give you BEFORE moving all your stuff in to

any unwelcome guests.
