1. The rooms are a little dated but clean and comfortable, no real problems.

2. Had a problem with an over flowing toilet on the first night, someone came up to fix it as soon as I reported it and when they could not fix it, they changed us to another room immediately.

3. While we never felt 'Threatened' i did not sleep well due to the loudness of our neighbours and other in the hotel, this being said i was not about to make any problems for them either - with two kids in the room.

4. in ideal position 5 mins from cnr highland and hollywood but rooms need refurbishing - day to day cleaning ok but needs a thorough clean and vacuum etc - service good as requested fridge and problems with tv addressed immediately -has just been taken over by the HILTON GARDENS CHAIN so expect rooms will be refurbished - front areas and restaurant already done - had room service for food but wouldnt recommendVISIT HOLLYWOOD MUSEUM A MUST THEN GO TO MELS DINER WHICH ADJOINS IT.

5. My only problem that we had was none of the ice machines were working - we tried several floors and all were not working.

6. There was a little problem getting back something that I'd accidentally left in the first room, but they followed up and I got it back.

7. The problem isn't the traffic volume, it's the high speed of traffic at night, coming downhill from a freeway exit on a fairly wide road.

8. This was a problem for me, but the bigger issue was Highland turned into a gridlocked nightmare sometime after 8pm, turning the half block trip from Franklin into a twenty minute ordeal, with the noisy traffic continuing into the middle of the night.
