2. I know this is a real deal breaker for some, BUT there is a decent restaraunt inside the hotel and many nearby options like a Brick Oven Pizzeria, Thai, Mexican, Korean, Chinese, sushi, Pacific Rim, local home style, and 'infusion cafe' style, etc.

3. )UPSIDE: 1) A decent size frige in the room, 2) dvd players and dvds, cable with more channels than other hotels, 3) daily coffee/newspaper 4) laundry room, 5) a VERY clean and well maintained pool/jacuzzi area, 6) an excellent central location on the island, so it's easy to choose to either go to Waimea Canyon, Poipu or Hanalei.
