1. Beautifully appointed and maintained, friendly, helpful staff, thoughtful amenities (fresh fruit bowls in the lobby!).

The pros: room size, adequate bathroom with great amenities, quiet location away from the Times Square noise, extremely friendly concierges (always ready with a very friendly greeting as guests enter and leave the elevator area), free internet, newspapers, and morning beverage for loyalty members (which is free so join the program).

10. To summarize, I'd say that the hotel is very beautiful, with nice amenities (such as plush terrycloth bathrobes), nicely decorated rooms but a sullen staff.
