1. BEST breakfast in NYC and cheapest is right across the street at Isadora's.

4. In all other aspects, this is a pleasant hotel- The location could not be beaten;- The staff is always courteous and friendly;- The bed is very good;- They offer breakfast beverages to the members of their fidelity club;- They offer both national and local newspapers.

6. We did not eat in the hotel restaurant; there were a number of cool (and cheap) breakfast places nearby on 52nd and 53rd, and lots of fine dining within a short walk.

If you are in the loyalty club there are several services that are complementary, for instance free breakfast beverages delivered to your room, free morning newspapers, etc.The rooms are very well appointed and on the small side which is normal in NYC, but they have configured them to be quite comfortable.
