1. Because of its age the hotel has a little post-art deco decor; it's clean; the staff is accessible and professional; our room had two pretty good beds, a fridge, microwave, HDTV with SatTV box -- everything worked well.

2. The hotel was clean and comfortable, interesting retro styled decor, kitchenette in our room, free Wi-Fi, free parking, quiet, Highland Mall just a few steps away for all shopping needs and you could see the Hollywood sign from there also.
