1. The breakfast was basically, but the food was fresh, however we usually went out for a brunch as there is so much choice.

3. There are fast food places (subway, mcdonalds very close), best restaurant California pizza place (great food reasonable prices, 5 mins walk from hotel) avoid Hard Rock Cafe.

5. You are 2 mins from a small shopping mall where you can get some great diner style food or Japanese, cocktails etc and see the hollywood sign (which wasn't lit up at night surprisingly).

8. Also, if you like 50`s style and the movie American Grafitti, try Mel`s Diner for lunch or dinner-their food is great and so is their butterscotch milkshakes.

9. Coffee, juice, donuts, toast, yoghurt etc. The food often went quickly but the lady seemed to keep an eye on it and it wasn't long before it would be topped up.
