Have said all this you have to remember this is Hollywood and you don't get much for your $ dollar so the fact that a reasonable continental breakfast was included, there was free internet access at a stand alone PC in the lobby and they made an effort with availability of gym/leisure equipment you can't really fault the place.

We managed to squeeze in universal studios on the first day thanks to the reception`s suggestion and help in booking and the next day, when we had a late flight out, the reception not only looked after our luggage while we went out for the day after check out but also allowed us to freshen up in the gym showers.
