1. What makes the hotel so special, however are the people - from Ren the General Manager, to Elizabeth at the welcome desk, to DJ at curb side, to Mosses at Nine Thirty resturant and then finally to Shin Baranek at wheels who always has my car ready in the morning and helps to start my day off with a smile - It's the warm and caring people at the W Westwood that make this a Hotel one to cherish.

No apology offered (or expected given the previous night's experience) I went back in and asked for a manager to explain why they couldn't make this simple process of retrieving cars work - especially when they charge $32 a day for parking!(the charge itself isn't an issue for me as I am on expenses, but even for LA hotel parking it is high and, more to the point, it is completely screwed up).
