1. This hotel does not have a pool and gym complex like the Peninsula or the Mandarin, but what it lacks in that department, it has in charm.

2. Gym: 7/10 - As an avid body builder I was happy to see that The Surrey's gym although quite modest in size, was adequately equipped and maintained with the all the basic gear that one needs to maintain their fitness regime on vacation.

8. The spa treatments looked great but we did not use them - and they don't have a pool or sauna, but the gym is well-equipped and anyway, shouldn't you really be out running with the locals in the park.
"Wonderful boutique hotel with outstanding staff " Read full review on TripAdvisor   1/6/2012 Vote
9. One final note - I am a bit of a fitness addict - The Surrey's gym is not the biggest, but it is equipped with new, high-end cardio and weight machines plus dumbells, bands, balls, etc. It provided more than ample opportunity to complete my workout schedule.
