5. Also, I had the misfortune of catching a cold during our stay and when the general manager learned of this, she sent up an extra tissue box and some great tea and honey.

6. Based on other perfect reviews and a seemingly interested manager, it appears unimportant if we ever return here or recommend it to others, but we can always talk with our feet and alert our Virtuoso agent.

8. In fairness to The Surrey, I submitted a complaint through their online survey (you receive an e-mail after check-out) and promptly received a response from a manager that was very nice and apologetic.
