4. The rooms are a good size and it is close to several restaurants, a movie complex and the Staples Center, but is otherwise not that conveniently located and has a fairly sterile look.

6. I would not stay here if you are looking for a chic place to stay but if you are looking to be in downtown LA (which is not chic to begin with) then this is a good bet for it's convenience.

10. However, and this is a big however, if you are on business and rent a car, then the ONLY option for conveniently parking is the valet which is $30 a day, making it among the biggest hotel rip-offs in the country.
