1. There are certainly a few negatives - noisy and very chaotic on weekends, too many hipsters, and they just can't seem to fix their A/C problems.

9. I was fortunate enough to stay at the W in Westwood as the guest of an LA based friend and can only say that the negative reviews here surprise me.

10. As a Starwood member who stays in W hotels frequently due to business travel, I chose to reserve a room at a different hotel in Santa Monica while planning a trip to LA after reading all of the negative reviews on Tripadvisor (which I read religiously).
