5. The parking garage next door was convenient but expensive ($46 for 24 hours, but I guess that's what you have to pay in a city like DC - valet parking at the hotel was full).

6. From the concierge who helped us with parking when the hotel lot was full (I didn't get his name but he was very friendly, very helpful and made our arrival very seemless), to Edward at the front desk who checked us in and helped us with our room configuration, to the woman at the front desk who checked us out and made sure that our car was delivered to the front of the hotel, even though I couldn't find my valet card (I also didn't get her name).
"Great Stay - Very Pleasantly Surprised with the Service " Read full review on TripAdvisor   4/25/2011 Vote
7. suburbs due to the Metro stop underneath (some of the low-cost bus services like BoltBus also stop right across the street from the hotel); nice, large rooms with comfortable bedding and other amenities; excellent off-season rates (including in the summer when Congress isn't in session); good breakfast buffet (but expensive if not included in your room rate); friendly and accommodating staff; attached parking garage ($26 for 24 hours) is convenient; convenient to Chinatown area and other night-time spots (movie theater, restaurants, etc.)Cons: Like I said, it's a big hotel.
