1. it was my firstime in washngton DC,I had spend three nights,first day was amazing for me because the historic building almost looks the same,the street names were very confusing but i managed to get around,with the biycle which cost $3 for hour they are good especially if you don`t drive to get around,the second day i made it to the white house i think my hotel was 6blocks from the white house.

2. There is a big construction project across the street so maybe that is why the price was so reasonable but we heard no noise in our room.

3. As for the construction, I could hear it through the windows, but leaving the fan running in the room helped block the street noise.

4. If you go to Capital City Brewing Co, just across the street, ask for Ahmid---a wonderful, kind server who treated us well as we went to dinner with an upset daughter.

8. However, when you're on vacation and when the streets and tourist spots are nice and spacious, it's not so relaxing when you get back to your hotel and find that there are hundreds of people hanging out in the lobby, restaurants and common areas.
