1. Be warned that the standard rooms do not have a bath, but I shower so that is not an issue for me.

5. The staff, including the manager, doormen, front desk, housekeeping, and even the maintenance man (we had a brief issue with adjusting the heating) were professional, friendly, attentive, but not overly so-just enough to let you know your patronage is appreciated.

9. The staff are friendly and managed an issue with check-in very well by offering free drinks vouchers for the roof top bar - which has a very nice view of the Manhattan skyline.
