1. Great position in Times Square for shows (ticket office opposite) and subway links uptown (next door immediate right) and downtown (turn left out of the hotel and 2 blocks approx) Felt safe at all times.

2. The hotel is perfectly sited for getting around - subway at the hotel entrance is great for downtown/uptown along 5th Avenue/City Hall, a short distance to the main Times Square subway and you connect to the lines that run from the Bronx right over to Brooklyn.

3. Also took Gray Line bus tours Uptown and Downtown - both guides on these tours gave interesting and funny commentaries and was great way to get a taste of all the different neighbourhoods.

8. Unfortunately a lot of the good bars, cafes, and restaurants are more in the downtown section of Manhattan which means at least a subway ride there and back.
