1. The suite itself was lovely; spacious and with great amenities including mini-bar, safe, toiletries, flat-screen etc. Very comfortable bed with extra pillows if needed, and plenty of storage space.

Especially since New York is known for small hotel rooms - the spacious accomodations at Doubletree were wonderful - separate bedroom - which made putting the children to bed easy - living room with pull-out couch - small bar in living room with refrigerator and micro-wave - and yet all the amenities of a full-service hotel - mini-bar, restaurant, doorman - etc. Maid left extra towels since we had 5 guests ( 2 children) - without asking - and no charge for the Fitness Center.
