Having looked at the web site, which did read & look quite good we were more than surprised & shocked on arriving at the hotel to actually find how awful it really was,unwelcoming, very brown, noisy & grubby, the reception area was also the bar/lounge with very loud music, and gave us the impression of being in a rather seedy hotel .

10. We were only staying with the Empire on room only basis so didn't have much to do with them, but the few occassions we needed them they were awful.
